Army Command Sgt. Maj. John W. Troxell, the senior enlisted adviser to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (SEAC), and the top senior enlisted leaders from across the armed forces, will hold two media press briefings in the Pentagon Briefing Room (2E973) on July 24.

The first briefing at 3:15 p.m. EDT will feature the SEAC along with five service senior enlisted advisers and focus on readiness, which includes training, manning and equipping policies, and enlisted leader development. The panel will include Sgt. Maj. of the Army Daniel A. Dailey, Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy Russell L. Smith, Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force Kaleth O. Wright, Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard Jason M. Vanderhaden, incoming Sgt. Maj. of the Marine Corps Troy E. Black, and the SEAC.

The second briefing will start at 4:15 p.m. EDT, and will feature the SEAC along with seven of the combatant command senior enlisted leaders and two of the sub-unified combatant command senior enlisted leaders, with a focus on joint operations, global integration and international partnerships. The panel will include Marine Sgt. Maj. Anthony A. Spadaro of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command; Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Philip Easton, the incoming senior enlisted leader of U.S. European Command; Marine Sgt. Maj. Bryan K. Zickefoose of U.S. Southern Command; Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Paul McKenna of U.S. Northern Command; Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Gregory A. Smith of U.S. Special Operations Command; Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Patrick F. McMahon of U.S. Strategic Command; Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Jason L. France of U.S. Transportation Command; Army Command Sgt. Maj. Timothy L. Metheny, U.S. Forces Afghanistan; Army Command Sgt. Maj. Walter A. Tagalicud, U.S. Forces Korea; and the SEAC.

The service senior enlisted advisers and command senior enlisted leaders are gathered as part of the Defense Senior Enlisted Council, an annual executive-level conference to address issues impacting the joint enlisted force.

Both U.S. and foreign journalists without a Pentagon building pass must be pre-registered in the Pentagon Visitor Management System to attend this press briefing; plan on being escorted from the River Entrance Pedestrian Bridge or the Pentagon Metro Entrance Facility only.
